This year’s event is proud to bring back ever-popular Willie Sugarcapps as the headliner along with Ryan Balthrop and Slide Bayou, and Crowned Jewelz.

Willie Sugarcapps is a combination of local artists Grayson Capps, Will Kimbrough, Corky Hughes and the duo Sugarcane Jane coming together to bring songwriter-in-the-round and jam session-styled collaborations. The five artists take turns singing lead and switching instruments, such as fiddle, banjo, mandolin, lap steel, bass and even ukulele. The sound is a little bit country, a little bit rock ‘n’ roll, a little blues, a little New Orleans and tells a story. Individually, these musicians have written, recorded, and toured throughout the US with the likes of Jimmy Buffett, Emmylou Harris, Neil Young, Kate Campbell, Dwight Yoakam, and Steve Winwood, to name a few. Their latest album Paradise Right Here is set to be released on April 15th via Baldwin County Public Records.

“Willie Sugarcapps is a homecoming for all of us,” explains Will Kimbrough. “It’s coming full circle back to the beginning of why we do this in the first place and the joy of what happens when you play and sing with people who are alike in spirit and mind.”

Ryan Balthrop and Slide Bayou is a song-oriented rock/jam band based out of Mobile, Alabama. The band is comprised of three of the area’s most prolific singer/songwriters, and backed by a smoking rhythm section, and featuring three, sometimes four part vocal harmonies. Ryan Balthrop, Harrison McInnis, and Lee Yankie, each write for their own projects, and have recently joined forces to form Slide Bayou, featuring Winter Baynes on drums, Marc Hendrix on bass, and Blake Nolte on saxophone and vocals. Don’t miss this very versatile up and coming act! Learn more at www.slidebayou.com.
