Annual Coastal Cleanup 

September 19, Saturday 

Dog River Clearwater Revival is participating in the 28th annual Alabama Coastal Cleanup and needs volunteers for its two cleanup zones in Upper and Middle Dog River. The event will be held from 8AM-12PM. At the Upper Dog River Zone (Eslava Creek), volunteers can sign in at Dog River Park. At the Middle Dog River Zone (Moore Creek), volunteers can sign in at 3633 Lipscomb Landing. Come by foot, by car or by boat. Water, gloves, and trash bags will be available. Lunch will be provided. Dog River Days!

The City of Mobile declared October 24th through October 31st as Dog River Days.

We will celebrate by offering two fun events that will get you acquainted with Dog River.

If you can’t make these events, try to do something related to the river and consider joining DRCR!

Fishing Tournament

October 24, Saturday 

Dog River Clearwater Revival is hosting the 5th Annual Dog River Fishing Tournament on Saturday, October 24th. Lines in at 5AM. Fish can come from anywhere in inshore Alabama waters (Mobile/Baldwin County only). Weigh-in will be at The River Shack from 2PM-3:30PM.

Register online Fishing Tournament Sigh Up! OR at the Captain’s Meeting. Captain’s meeting will be Friday, October 23rd at The River Shack Bar and Grill from 6-9pm. Great live music, yummy food and good company abound. Winner of the drawdown game last year won almost $1500!!

Tournament Adult Fee $35, Youth (ages 6-15) Fee $20 and Children (ages 5 and under) FREE.

The 6th Annual Dog River Ghost Chase

October 31, Saturday, 5 PM

 2014 at Dockside Marina (4960 Dauphin Island Parkway, Mobile, AL)

The kids Goblin Gallop will start at 5 PM. The featured 5K follows immediately after. The race  entry fee is moderate and the race is on Halloween night! There will be a costume contest with divisions for kids as well as adults. The grand prize drawing will be for a kayak or paddle board. There will be post races festivities and live music.
